What is Palenque LSNA CLC Program at Kelvyn Park?
The Palenque LSNA 21st Century Program is a FREE out-of-school time program and local community development organization, funded by the Illinois State Board of Education’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) Grant.
This 21st Century program offers students and their parents/caregivers the opportunity to take part in a variety of academic and personal enrichment programs, events, and activities. Student activities are designed to complement the daily school curriculum, while also providing educational and personal development opportunities to parents/caregivers.
Meet the CLC Kelvyn Park Staff
Yemilee M Lempa
My name is Yemilee Monjes Lempa, and I am a proud community builder based in Chicago. Originally from Venezuela, I migrated to the U.S. in 2016, bringing with me a deep spirit of resilience, creativity, and service. Over time, I’ve discovered my calling: to uplift and empower others. I believe in the power of community, direct service, and systemic advocacy to create lasting change. Currently, I serve as the Education Organizer and Resource Manager at Kelvyn Park High School with Palenque LSNA, where I work to ensure that students and families in our community have the support they need to thrive. I am also an honors student at Northeastern Illinois University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Technology and a minor in Interaction Design.
Alondra Padilla
Born and raised in Chicago's Belmont Cragin neighborhood, Alondra is a first-generation Mexican-American shaped by the strength and resilience of her mother.
